OMG it’s been so long since I was on tumblr!!!! It’s been a busy (and tough) few weeks but thankfully things are getting back to normal!

As some of you already know, I’ve been been treating my psoriasis & psoriatic arthritis with Enbrel for a few months now. Today I was at the dermatologist and we both agree that its not working :( my arms, chest and upper legs are still covered in psoriasis and my arthritis, while much improved is still giving me grief. So we’re going to give Humira a try for a while and keep our fingers crossed. 

So today I took my last Enbrel injection and will be given a Humira ‘welcome pack’ at the clinic next week.

I’m getting kinda worried though, I’ve had psoriasis all my life and I’ve tried EVERYTHING to treat it and get it to a stable, manageable level. I’m worried that the Humira will go the same way as the Enbrel and that will be yet ANOTHER unsucessful treatment. There’s only so many drugs available to psoriasis sufferers, and I’m getting through that list too quickly. I’m only 27 ffs and I don’t want to run out of options by the time I’m 30!!!!!!

I’m jut so pissed off with my skin right now GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!
